Lila T. Arnold, age 92, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2022 at her home in Fort Atkinson. She fulfilled God’s purpose for her life raising a family and living a long fruitful life to see many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was born on April 27, 1930 in Norwalk, WI, daughter of Raymond J. and Anna (Heinz) Weibel.
Lila enjoyed traveling, making trips to Nashville and Las Vegas with her children.
Lila retired from McCain Food’s (formerly Moore’s Seafood) in 1995.
Lila was preceded in death by her husband, Delton Arnold in 1987; sisters, Bernadette Taylor and Rita Weibel Johnson and brothers, Eugene and Donovan Weibel. She is survived by her children, Linda (Charles) Haugen, Karen Morris, Steve (Deb) Arnold, Cindy (Jack) Brandt and Jeff (Lesa) Arnold; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church until time of service. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials or donations in Lila’s name may be made to Rainbow Hospice in Jefferson, WI.
Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.
