The event, which was held Thursday, is in its second year.
According to information released by the Jefferson chamber, some 30 downtown businesses participated, with many activities taking place along the city’s Firehouse Alley.
During the event, sponsors handed out candy and Jason Marin, of Fairway Independent Mortgage, sponsored a photo booth.
Additionally, Thompson Legal sponsored and held a costume contest.
As reported by the chamber, the winners are as follows: 1-3 age group, Liam B., who was dressed as Donald Duck, and Eunice M., who was dressed as a pig; 4-6 age group, Amelia M., who was dressed as Ashsoka Tano; 7-9 age group, Luke L., who was dressed as Woody, and within a group for children ages 10 and older, Anderson D., who was dressed as Elton John.
Two families won “best dressed family.” They are the Edwards family, whose members were dressed as inside out, and the McFalls family, whose members were dressed as characters from the movie “Jurassic Park.”
Among pets in costume, “Saber” was awarded best dressed, sporting a ladybug costume, the release stated.
