Across the four counties represented within State Senate District 11 — Jefferson, Kenosha, Rock and Walworth — Republican incumbent Steve Nass retained his seat.
He ran against Democratic challenger Steven Doelder.
Tallies from across the district show Nass as the winner of the race with 44,967 or 58% of the vote to Doelder’s 32,083 or 41%.
Nass emerged victorious in all four counties. In Jefferson County Nass won with 10,207 votes as opposed to Doelder who earned 7,826 votes. Fourteen precincts reported in this race.
In Kenosha County, Nass earned 1,105 and Doelder, 542.
In Rock County, with the race’s 32 precincts reporting, Nass received 9,296 or 51.83% of the vote while Doelder received 8,621 or 48.07%.
In Walworth County, Nass held his seat by a large margin over his opponent, receiving 24,359 votes to Doelder’s 15,094. As of Wednesday, the county’s election website was complete with 29 precincts reporting.
