Preventative health topic at Women Who Care luncheon

Preventative health in the community is the topic of discussion during a Women Who Care luncheon planned for Thursday, March 17, according to information released by the organization. 

The luncheon will feature guest speaker Chris Barron, executive director, Population Health and Clinical Services, at Fort HealthCare. 

Additionally, the event provides opportunities for networking with like-minded women, according to the release. 

Both members and nonmembers are welcomed at this event. 

During the event a boxed lunch from Steel Away Café will be provided while attendees learn about preventative health in the Fort Atkinson community. 

The event is free for organization members and costs $25 for nonmembers. 

It will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the Dwight Foster Library Community Room, 209 Merchants Ave., Fort Atkinson. 

“We will be giving away a Pot of Gold raffle prize. Attendance earns you a ticket. Each person who brings a guest will get an additional ticket and more chances at a beautiful basket. Please bring a guest, the more the merrier,” the release stated.

Women Who CARE is a philanthropic group committed to making a difference in the health and well-being of the communities it serves.
