Reena Senior Living Center in Fort Atkinson has presented Badgerland After School Enrichment Program (BASE) Executive Director Alicia Noris and program members with a check for $2,600, according to a recent announcement from BASE.
According to the announcement, Reena hosted a fish fry on May 21 to support BASE. The drive-through event served over 450 meals in two hours.
“We appreciate Reena donating the proceeds from their fish fry to BASE. With their support, we will be able to support kids and families this summer during our wrap-around program at Purdy Elementary School ” Norris said.
BASE offers critical out of schooltime programs.
The organization is accepting applications for the full-day summer program. Summer hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. June 9t-Aug. 20.
BASE also offers after-school programs during the school year from 3 to 6 p.m. in the four public elementary schools. BASE is open on early-release days and select no-school days.
