‘Santa and Mrs. Claus’ enjoy hayrides with children  

Residents young and old lined up at Badger Bank in Fort Atkinson Saturday for hayrides with “Santa and Mrs. Claus.”

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the jolly old elf and his spouse visited with riders during, before and after taking a tour around town aboard horse-drawn wagons.

Inside the bank, participants enjoyed holiday treats.

The event coincided with the Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Open House and Market featuring artisans and crafters at five downtown venues.

Followed by a group of admirers, Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive on Grant Street in Fort Atkinson Saturday where a horse-drawn hay wagon waits for participants eager to take a ride around town.
