The Fort Atkinson Community Foundation has announced that a deadline for Fort Atkinson High School seniors who would like to apply for scholarships is April 1.
According to the information released by the foundation, there are 19 scholarships available for seniors graduating during the 2023-24 school year.
Scholarships are available for seniors who are pursuing educations in vocational tech, as well as many for women offered through the American Association of University Women (AAUW), along with those offered to undergraduate and graduate students who are former Fort Atkinson High School graduates or current residents, according to the release.
A full list of scholarships is found here: http://www.fortfoundation/.
Applications may be filled out online and must be completed by 10 p.m., Friday, April 1.
Applications are available through the foundation’s website. Applicants are encouraged to look for “Fort Scholarships,” an online application link for guidance through the application process. The online application offers applicants the ability to work intermittently on their applications, meaning they can begin the process, save their work, and log on later to complete the process.
Applicants also will find the individual criteria for each scholarship to determine their eligibility, the release stated.
