“Board Books for Babies” were delivered recently to the Obstetrics Department at Fort HealthCare, according to a recent news release.
A book drive for the program was held by the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School in March.
The books are made available as gifts to newborns at the hospital, according to the release.
Book drive volunteers also brought a box that contained goodies and handmade thank you cards to give to the staff of the OB department as part of their Random Acts of Kindness program, the release stated.
Representatives from St. Paul’s delivered the gifts to the hospital Monday.
The items were “gratefully received” by Deborah Schumacher, manager of the OB Department at the hospital, the release noted.
