Republican incumbent candidate Bryan Steil will be returning to his seat serving Wisconsin’s Congressional District 1. Nonprofit election site ballotpedia.org reported early Wednesday morning that, districtwide, the candidate received 54.9% of the vote and his Democratic challenger, Ann Roe, earned 44.4%. In Walworth County, Steil, as of Wednesday, emerged with a large countywide advantage over his Democratic challenger Ann Roe. Steil won the county by a vote of 25,531 to 15,174. The final tally included 34 precincts reporting.
In Rock County, with a full 78 precincts reporting, the results were flipped, with Roe emerging as the preferred candidate. She earned 25,678 or 56.06% of the votes, beating Steil who earned 21,401 or 45.07% of the vote.
