The Sophisticated Lady joins Fort chamber

Just in time for Mother’s Day, a health and beauty business called The Sophisticated Lady has joined the Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce.

The company has a variety of products intended to pamper hard-working moms. Based out of Janesville, the business sells exclusively online and through area farmer markets, and will be a regular vendor at arts markets, held the last Saturday of each month in Fort Atkinson.  Proprietor Valencia Riley began creating “superfood” skin products after struggling with her own dry skin issues, and now offers whipped body butters, moisturizing scrubs, and bodywashes made from shea, mango, and kukui nut butters, as well as magnesium oils.

“Most of my clients have dry skin, especially those who suffer from diabetes, eczema, and psoriasis,” says Riley. “So the ingredients in my products are designed to instantly moisturize and hydrate, as well as start the skin repair process.”

The Sophisticated Lady has also found a following with men, who appreciate her scented beard oils, body scrubs, and cologne, but Riley is focusing on mothers in May, offering tasteful gift baskets filled with her signature spa products, as well as scented candles, organic tea, coffee, wine, and an assortment of savory and sweet treats. Customers can choose their own scents and flavors for a truly unique gift.

The Sophisticated Lady will be at the May 29 Fort Atkinson Farmer Market. To learn more or purchase products before then, visit www.thesophistcatedlady1.com or on find the company on Facebook.
