Two incumbents return to Fort school board

Voters within the School District of Fort Atkinson Tuesday returned incumbents Kory Knickrehm and Amy Reynolds to their seats on the board of eduction. 

Challenger Matt Loup was not successful in his bid to win one of the two seats due for reelection. 

Successful school board candidates serve at-large and for three-year terms. 

Among the three candidates vying for the two seats, unofficial results posted Tuesday by clerks in Jefferson and Rock counties show that Knickrehm emerged as the top vote-getter with 2,691 votes earned from constituents across the district and within the two counties. Reynolds followed, earning 2,641 votes, and Loup earned 2,555 votes. 

Jefferson County voters within the School District of Fort Atkinson reside within the towns of Cold Springs, Ward 1; Hebron, Wards 1 and 2; Jefferson, Wards 1-4; Koshkonong, Wards 1-6; Oakland, Wards 1-4; Palmyra, Wards 1 and 2; Sumner, Ward 1, and city of Fort Atkinson, Wards 1-13. 

Rock County voters within the district reside within the town of Lima.
