The League of Women Voters-Whitewater Area has announced it will be hosting the annual State of the City and State of the Schools addresses.
According to a recent press release, Whitewater City Manager Cameron Clapper will be delivering the State of the City address, which will include information about city budgeting, and will update the community about the ongoing Cravath Lake project. Comments will further include a report about COVID-19.
Whitewater Unified School District Superintendent Caroline Pate-Hefty will be delivering the State of the Schools address, which will include information about student and staff accomplishments, and comments about the school year ahead. She will be joined in her presentation by the district’s business manager Benjamin Prather.
Both addresses will be given Thursday, Sept. 23, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
