The Whitewater Area League of Women Voters will be hosting a virtual presentation on “Practical Climate Change Solutions for a Better Future,” on Thursday, Nov. 18, at 6:30 p.m. with Dr. John D. Frye, associate professor, Department of Geography, Geology, and Environmental Science at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Utilizing a simulation model, Dr. Frye will guide attendees in participating in creating changes to current policies that are shaping our planet. The goal of this simulation will be to slow the warming of our planet to below 2°C by the end of the century.
Discussions on how these proposed changes may be accomplished at both the global and local scale will follow the simulation.
