The League of Women Voters of the Whitewater Area will be hosting two virtual candidate forums, Saturday, March 13, in advance of the April 6 Spring Election.
The first forum, for City of Whitewater Common Council candidates, will be held in the morning, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The second forum, for Whitewater United School District (WUSD) Board of Education candidates, will be held in the afternoon, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Common council candidates include: Carol McCormick, District 1; Brienne Diebolt-Brown, District 3; Greg Majkrzak, District 5; Neil Hicks, District 5; and running at-large are candidates Lisa Dawsey Smith and Daniel Machalik.
Candidates for the WUSD school board include: Tom Ganser, Larry Kachel, Andrea M. Svec and Maryann Zimmerman.
All of the above candidates have confirmed their participation in the live, online forums.
