Whitewater: Irvin L. Young Memorial Library announces summer reading program

The Irvin L. Young Memorial Library, Whitewater, has announced that it will be hosting a summer reading program titled: “An Ocean of Possibilities.” 

According to a recent news release, the program will be held between June 15 and July 31. 

The program will begin with a “kickoff” party which will be held from 3-5 p.m. 

During the party, children, ages 4-18, will be treated to crafts, games, activities and popsicles, the release stated. 

The summer reading program is free and features crafts and activities, along with “book bingo,” during which participants can earn free books. 

“Visit the library every week to receive a bit of treasure or passes for more adventures,” the release stated. 

The library is located at 431 West Center St.
