The Irvin L. Young Memorial Library in Whitewater will feature local author Leann Schwandt Lehner on Friday, Oct. 29.
“Spooky Storytime,” will be held at 11 a.m., at which time Schwandt Lehner will read her book, “The Twelve Days of Halloween,” according to information released by the library.
The library is located at 431 W. Center Street.
Attendees will join the story’s character “True Ghoul,” as she embarks on a mission to provide 12 days of spooky and spectacular gifts, pre-Halloween.
Copies of the book will be available for sale and the library will be offering “goodie bags to go.”
Attendees are encouraged to wear a costume.
The outdoor event is free and fun for the whole family, according to the release.
