Whitewater city officials have announced that Walworth Avenue, between South Whiton and Prince streets, will be closed Tuesday, July 11, and possibly Wednesday, July 12.
According to information released by Brad Marquardt, director of the city’s Public Works Department, the closure is required to perform storm sewer repair work.
Motorists approaching the work area from the east are encouraged to go north on Whiton Street, then west on Charles Street, turning south onto Prince Street, and then continuing east on W. Walworth Ave. Those approaching the area from the west are encouraged to turn north onto Prince Street, then east onto Charles Street, and south onto Whiton Street.
