A candlelight vigil will be held Saturday in remembrance of a newborn baby found dead in a field behind the Twin Oaks Mobile Home Park in Whitewater earlier this month.
Police have asked the public for information regarding the incident. Vigil organizer Pam Brotzman said in an email that the remembrance was planned because “the community felt we needed to do something for the baby.”
The vigil will be held in the location where the baby was found, behind the mobile home park, 755 N. Tratt St., at 7 p.m.
“People are asked to bring candles with them as we don’t have many. There will be music and prayer,” Brotzman said.
