James C. Maclaurin, 77, of Fort Atkinson, passed away on September, 29, 2023.
James was born on January 15, 1946 in Fort Atkinson, son of the late Robert and Irene (Probst) Maclaurin. On October 10, 1969, he married Trudy Vermillion at the First Congregational Church in Fort Atkinson.
James loved to travel, especially to South Dakota where he enjoyed hiking.
James would spend many hours outside in his garden and loved sitting on his back porch watching the birds and squirrels play. He also enjoyed the many wonderful times with close friends and family.
James is survived by his wife Trudy Maclaurin of Fort Atkinson and sisters, Patricia (Terry) Roglitz, Gayle Bottlemy and Susie (Ken) Iverson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Maclaurin.
A prayer of comfort will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. at the memorial home until 1 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice in James’ name.
