First Congregational UCC to offer worship with polka music

The First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fort Atkinson will be hosting a service featuring polka music, according to information recently released by the church.

The service will be held Sunday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m.

Members of the public are invited to attend. 

According to the release, the Dave Austin Polka Band from New Glarus will lead the music during the 10 a.m. worship service, with the Rev. Dr. Sara Rabe officiating.

The worship will be followed by a “German fest” styled luncheon, which, the release noted, comes “complete with brats and sauerkraut.”

As stated in the release, First Congregational United Church of Christ is an “inclusive congregation welcoming all persons, including those of all races, ethnicities, ages, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, family structures, faith backgrounds, abilities and economic circumstances.”

The church is handicap-accessible and is located at 31 West Milwaukee Ave.
