The Friends of the Dwight Foster Public Library group will he holding its next book sale Saturday, July 9.
The sale will be held at the Dwight Foster Public Library, 209 Merchants Ave., Fort Atkinson, from 10 a.m. to noon. Members of Friends of the Library are invited to attend the sale at 9 a.m. during which time they may purchase a bag of books for $5. Memberships also may be purchased on site for those who would like to participate in the early sale hour, according to a news release supplied by the group.
There is a large selection of both fiction and non-fiction books available.
CD’s, videos and books on tape also are available for purchase, the release stated.
A large selection of children’s and young adult books is available.
Those with books they may have already read who would like to donate them to future sales are encouraged to drop them off at the library’s main desk.
The Friends of the Library is dedicated to assisting the Dwight Foster Public Library in meeting community needs, funding programs for both youth and adults, and offering financial assistance in ways to maintain and improve the library’s services.
“Joining the Friends of the Library is a great way to support the library,” the release noted.
