‘Evening in the Garden’ offers alternative to Saturday market, organizers say

“An Evening in the Garden” was the theme of Thursday’s Fort Farmers Market at Blodgett Pet and Garden Center in Fort Atkinson.

The specialty market featured local crafters and artisans, music, food vendors, and a wine tasting served by the Fort Atkinson Rotary Club.

The event was designed to entertain customers who might not be able to attend the traditional Saturday morning downtown markets while giving vendors the opportunity to reach new audiences.

During the event, Live music was performed by Jason Petitt, an acoustic guitarist known for his diverse playlists in reggae, rock, funk and punk, and Joe Ingram, a musician who loves to sing and play the blues, according to the release.
