Barry Noel Baker, 71 of Jefferson, was taken to be with the Lord on March 2, 2024.
Barry was born on June 14, 1952, the son of Francis and June Baker of rural Fort Atkinson. Barry lived most of his life in Fort Atkinson, until he became a resident of Alden Estates in Jefferson in 2017.
Barry remained a bachelor his entire life but filled his life with the love of animals. Blonde and Joey, his two Labradors were his best friends. He also loved horses and hunting.
Barry was employed by Jack and Jane Bound of Jefferson
For many years, Barry would ride, show, and train horses. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Francis “Lefty” and June Baker; two brothers, Danny and Terry Baker and one sister, Judy Baker Gonzalez.
Barry is survived by his brother, Gary (Ruth) Baker of Baraboo, WI; sisters, Connie Baker Larson and Gina (Pedro) Baker Delgado both of Oelwein, IA; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no service at this time.
Barry will be laid to rest later in the Spring at which time a celebration of Barry’s life will be held.
