HD Drones, Oak Tree, RE/MAX Shine, Wisconsin Power Partners, join Fort chamber

The Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce has recently announced the addition of several new members. They are: HD Drones, Oak Tree Children and Family Services, RE/MAX Shine, and Wisconsin Power Partners.

HD Drones, LLC

HD Drones, LLC, according to a recent chamber release, is owned by Houston Dunkleberger, whose mission is to “create an experience worth repeating by providing high definition real estate photography, videography, and services to real estate agents, homeowners, and business owners.”

The release noted that Dunkleberger has had a passion for photography “since she was very young.”

The release described Dunkleberger’s recollection of “sneaking her parents’ Canon T3 camera to take nature photography in her backyard. As she grew up, that passion never faded; she pursued coursework in high school and college to refine her skills and add structure to her creativity. As an adult, Dunkleberger feels lucky to have found her niche in the extensive world of photography.”

Dunkleberger obtained her real estate license in 2021, and worked as a salesperson. She founded HD Drones, LLC, in 2022.

As noted in the release, HD Drones, LLC, offers flexible hours, although the company recommends that clients select times when natural light “is best,” allowing for the best capture of photos.

Oak Tree Children and Family Services

Oak Tree Children and Family Services, 511 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, according to a chamber release, is a mental health clinic serving clients from age 2 through adulthood.

The clinic prides itself “on having a plethora of counseling and care options” its staff can offer to potential clients, “from all walks of life.”

The company was begun in 2016, by owner and counselor Darlene Meiners, who, the release noted, “researched many different names and kept coming back to esteemed poet Maya Angelou’s words, ‘I can see in the acorn the oak tree. I see the growth, the rebuilding, the restoring.’ Angelou’s words aligned with how Meiners practices as a professional counselor.”

“Sometimes when we get stuck, it’s hard to see anything but a little acorn so the job of counselors is to help people see their full potential,” Angelou’s quote was noted in the release, continuing with: “…without courage, you can’t practice any of the other virtues consistently.”

The release stated that Meiners “feels the courage to ask for help is often underestimated as well.”

The mission of the clinic is to  provide an environment that is age-appropriate and safe for all of the clinic’s clients, and to enhance mental health awareness, promote individual empowerment, and increase access to treatment and services for those experiencing challenges, the release continued.

The company provides its services “under one roof,” and employs eight staff members, including licensed counselors, a psychiatrist, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, a certified life coach/mental health specialist, and an executive director.

The clinic is open Mondays through Fridays, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., and on some Saturdays by appointment.
