Letter to the editor:
When one thinks of tax cuts, remember Gov. Evers in his first term in office had cut taxes by 15% for 86% of Wisconsinites! Those tax cuts included a half billion cut for small businesses! Our governor supports working families and small businesses because he understands it builds a strong economy for our state. And he continues to help all of us.
Gov. Evers has called for another reduction in income taxes for a working family making less than $100,000 or a married couple making $150,000. That 10% cut is meaningful. Gov. Evers proposes expansion of the Child and Dependent Tax Credit to provide relief to struggling families. These are the policies and actions to help everyone in our state, not just the very wealthy.
My hope is that these good things continue so everyone can benefit in our great state.
