Seated on the stage of the Fort Atkinson High School auditorium, 71 graduating seniors were each called to the podium Wednesday to receive accolades and scholarships provided by area organizations and community members.
Family members and friends attended the two-hour ceremony, during which scholarship presenters handed out some $643,000 in awards, according to one of the school’s counselors Samantha Ahler.
