The Woman’s Club of Fort Atkinson will meet Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 1:15 p.m. at the Dwight Foster Public Library.

A presentation, “Feed the Need,” will be given in celebration of the 40-year history of the Fort Atkinson Food Pantry. Speaking will be Alan Timm, president of the food pantry, according to information released by the club.

There also will be a presentation of the mobile food pantry by Bill Roberts.

Anyone interested in Joining the Woman’s Club is invited to attend. The organization has been in existence since 1950 and encourages fellowship, the release stated.

Each year, the group gives a $1,000 scholarship to students leaving the workforce or homework and returning to continue their education.

The club also selects a community-improvement project each year to support with a monetary gift. For the past two years, the organization has selected the Homeless Coalition of  Fort Atkinson. This year’s gift was $500.
