The Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that Rock River Optical has joined as a new member.
According to the release, Rock River Optical, an eye care practice, 232 S. Main St., Fort Atkinson, was founded in 2015 and purchased by Dr. Amanda Cheek in June.
“Cheek’s mission is to provide wonderful eye care for people in her hometown. Cheek graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 2004 and obtained her doctorate in optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2011,” the release noted.
Offering a variety of eyewear and contact lenses, Rock River Optical is accepting eye examination appointments. Services include retinal photography to further diagnose retinal diseases, contact lens training, and glasses adjustments. Cheek is working to be credentialed with all insurances offered under the past owner, so clients can continue to receive services as in the past, the release continued.
